Steffan Eldred

As the Innovation Lead on hydrogen transport for Innovate UK Steffan helps to shape Innovate UKs approach and support for hydrogen transport in the UK in line with Net Zero strategy. As part of this Steffan runs the Tees Valley Hydrogen Transport Hub programme, funded by the Department for Transport, which is currently in the second phase of supporting hydrogen transport demonstration projects in the North East region.

Steffan also works for Innovate UK KTN and lead on the creation of the Hydrogen Innovation Network, home to the HydroGenerally podcast series. Prior to Innovate UK KTN Steffan worked for a FTSE 100 organisation responsible for identifying, pursuing, and implementing next step energy opportunities.
