Sam French

Sam French is Chief Technology Officer at MorGen Energy, bringing over two decades of experience in hydrogen technologies and decarbonisation. Passionate about driving the transition to a low-carbon economy, he has a proven track record of developing innovative energy solutions in both emerging and established markets.

At MorGen Energy, Sam is focused on optimising existing technologies to produce green hydrogen at the lowest possible cost, while also shaping the company’s long-term technical roadmap. His expertise in strategy development, R&D, and business leadership is instrumental in advancing the company’s hydrogen initiatives.

Before joining MorGen Energy, Sam held senior roles at Johnson Matthey, where he led global business development in green hydrogen and fuel cells, managing major contracts and strategic partnerships. Sam holds a PhD in Computational Chemistry from the Royal Institution of Great Britain.
