Richard Bradley

Richard is a Chartered Civil Engineer working across transport to help plan for a fairer, greener and stronger future. Most recently he has worked for sub-national transport bodies, including Transport for the North, Transport for the South-East and now leads the Strategy and Policy Directorate at Midlands Connect. 

Richard’s role focuses on: understanding future travel demand; enhancing future transport infrastructure; de-risking supply-chains to meet future demand; and monitoring the region’s performance. 

Forecasting consumption out to 2050 provides valuable market analysis to inform long-term investment decisions to help shape the transition to alternative fuels. Aligned to supporting early demonstrators, Richard is technical lead in drafting a vision-led national network of refuelling, recharging and modal-interchange hubs to support goods movements throughout Great Britain.
