Craig McCafferty
Associate Director - Arup

Craig is an Associate Director focused on delivering industrial decarbonisation and hydrogen business advisory services. He is a highly experienced, senior leader of multi-disciplined engineering and project management teams with 28 years of experience in the energy sector. He brings extensive knowledge of capital project delivery, industrial processes and practices, risk management, operational logistics, organisational effectiveness and stakeholder engagement through senior operational facing roles at top-tier COMAH sites in the downstream oil & gas sector with ExxonMobil.

More recently Craig has leveraged his knowledge of hydrogen from petrochemical and refining applications to support green hydrogen projects and system transformation planning in the Energy Futures team of SGN, notably being Project Director of the H100 Hydrogen trial in Levenmouth, Fife.

Since joining Arup, Craig has been Project Director on several green hydrogen projects, from Feasibility and Concept Select phase through pre-FEED and preparation for FEED.
