Chair - Decarbonised Gas Alliance
Chris is the chair of the Decarbonised Gas Alliance and Decarbonisation Consultant with Costain. Chris is a chartered engineer and has worked in the UK and International gas sectors for over 35 years. He is a respected figure in the industry with a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in the design and operation of the gas transmission and distribution networks. Chris has been an advocate for the role the gas networks can play in achieving net zero. He has worked closely with the transmission and distribution network operators, industry, BEIS and the Climate Change Committee, providing technical expertise on the potential to repurpose the existing gas infrastructure, hydrogen production options, blending and deblending, hydrogen storage and CCUS.
