Green Partnership Initiated Between the EU and the Republic of Korea
A Green Partnership has been initiated by the EU and the Republic of Korea to foster collaboration concerning climate action, clean energy, and environmental conservation. Hydrogen Industry Leaders highlights what this means for collaboration.

Collaboration between nations is an important factor but between continents takes it a step further as there have been increased calls for a global hydrogen market to be established.

This partnership aims to enhance bilateral cooperation and share exemplary practices in various aspects of the green transition, such as climate action, the transition to clean energy, and environmental preservation.

By joining forces, the EU and the Republic of Korea seek to fulfill their commitment to limit global temperature increase to below 1.5°C and achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

The launch of this partnership took place in Seoul, South Korea, during the EU-Korea Summit, with the participation of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.
