Greece’s Hydrogen Future To Be Redefined Through Technology
Advent Technologies and DEPA Commercial have announced intentions to collaborate on hydrogen projects. Hydrogen Industry Leaders looks at how this collaboration aims to develop the Greek Hydrogen economy through technology.

Under the MoU, the companies are aiming to produce environmentally friendly hydrogen as a fuel in Greece alongside other industrial players.

In addition to this, the companies plan on creating an innovation hub for the development of the Greek hydrogen and fuel cell industry.

Looking at co-developing a proprietary combined heat and power (CHP) system for mass production, the firms have ambitions of boasting efficiency approaching 90 per cent with multi-fuel operating capabilities, including hydrogen, for on-grid and off-grid applications.

It comes after, in 2021, Advent Technologies was nominated by the Greek Ministry of Development and Investment to be part of the first wave of the Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI) on hydrogen.
