DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to be hosting our Hydrogen Cymru conference to bring together the leading voices to discuss how hydrogen can accelerate the transition to net zero. \nThe Hydrogen Research Briefing launched by the Welsh parliament in July 2024 highlights the vision for Wales \nhttps://research.senedd.wales/media/s5db0css/24-21-hydrogen-in-wales.pdf \nWhilst large scale production of hydrogen doesn’t yet exist in Wales\, there are several large scale green hydrogen production facilities being progressed.\n• HyBont in Bridgend\, which consist of a 5.2MW electrolyser (5.2MW) and solar farm\n• West Wales Hydrogen electrolyser in Milford Haven\n• The ‘Pembroke Phase I’ 110MW electrolysis plant in Pembroke\n• In North Wales\, there is the development of the Holyhead Hydrogen Hub to supply transport activities at Port of Holyhead \nThis one day conference will discuss how hydrogen can be produced to be used in transport\, industry and heating\, listening to the leading thought leaders through a series of presentations and panel discussions. \nTo find out more and understand the opportunities available please email\nenquiry@hydrogenindustryleaders.com

SUMMARY:HIL Scotland Conference 2025
DESCRIPTION:Now in its fourth year\, this conference will bring together the most influential figures building the hydrogen economy in Scotland to discuss progress and the vision for the future. \nWith the UK Government building on the ten-point action plan for a green industrial revolution\, the industry will need to retrofit and build new infrastructure\, unlock private investment to boost final investment decisions and explore ways to secure a sustainable hydrogen economy and build the case for hydrogen to be traded as a commodity. \nHydrogen Priorities \nAlongside this strategy\, the UK Government has also published a series of consultations\, including the NZHF\, the HBM and the UK low-carbon hydrogen standard. \nWith the support of the government and our enterprise agencies\, coupled with private investment and innovation\, we are now seeing the emergence of the next generation of hydrogen projects and investment decisions across multiple industries. \nEvent Synopsis \nThe hydrogen market is set to undergo rapid change and expansion to meet upcoming climate objectives. Long-term revenue contracts will be critical for early low-carbon hydrogen projects to obtain future financing.
