Michael Knudsen

Michael Dennis Knudsen has an educational background as mechanical engineer and within business administration. He has worked with technology licensor and catalyst company Haldor Topsoe for 29 years before recently joining COWI as Business Development Director, Green Fuels and Energy. In this role he will be involved in accelerating the green transition through COWI’s participation in hydrogen and power-to-x projects. He has worked for more than 30 years in the chemical industry, the energy sector and automotive industry, both in leading roles as well as “hands-on” roles. He has had commercial as well as technical roles and as such has deep insight into the markets, technologies and business processes of hydrogen, ammonia and methanol markets. Within hydrogen he has worked for many years as a steam methane reformer specialist and as project manager for hydrogen plants.
