Molly Akers

Molly Akers is a Project Engineer focused on systems-level delivery of low-carbon infrastructure. She plays a central role in the Hydrogen Backbone Link (HBL) project at NZTC, leading both technical and non-technical workstreams - from engineering integration to stakeholder engagement and regulatory alignment. Molly’s work spans the full early-stage development lifecycle, offering a holistic view of what it takes to realise hydrogen’s potential. Her collaborative approach across the value chain supports scalable, cross-sector solutions that are critical to enabling the UK’s hydrogen economy.
