Project Development Manager - RWE (green hydrogen)
Nicole Tang is a Project Development Manager in RWE’s green hydrogen business.
Nicole leads the development of RWE's Grangemouth Green Hydrogen project. This includes programme and budget management, identifying and securing where the electricity and water is coming from, arranging land agreements for the plant to be built on, planning and permitting applications, and building an electrolyser plant to produce hydrogen for the customer.
She is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and has previously worked in oil and gas exploration and production with a focus on natural gas processing from offshore platforms to onshore gas terminals in the northeast of England. Nicole then moved on to design and build electrolyser plants for hydrogen production. Further supporting the energy transition, she moved into development of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects by providing technical due diligence reviews for mergers and acquisitions of BESS assets across the UK and Ireland.
