Chris Foxall

Chris established Hyppo Hydrogen Solutions in 2022 to address the critical “chicken and egg” dilemma in the hydrogen value chain. Hyppo leverages proven hydrogen-powered equipment to replace fossil fuel systems in existing markets such as public transportation and remote power generation.

He has two decades of experience in building, leading, and investing in businesses across the globe, including Managing Director roles at some of the world’s largest investment banks, including JPMorgan, UBS, Bear Stearns, and Credit Agricole. Chris also spent four years as an investor and Finance Director at Riversimple Movement, creating affordable, zero-emission hydrogen cars.

He serves as the Chair of the Swansea Bay City Deal Economic Strategy Board, and is a Corporate Joint Committee ESB member, advising on economic development and inward investment. He is also a Board Member of Gower College Swansea’s Business Advisory Board and a regional stakeholder representative for the British Business Bank’s Investment Fund for Wales.
