David Caine

David has been involved with Dolphyn since its inception 7 years ago, and is responsible for the leading the technical development of projects in Dolphyn Hydrogen’s emerging portfolio. He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, with over 15 years experince in technical risk and safety engineering in the energy sector across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
David plays a key role on the Milford Haven Hydrogen (MH:HK) Project, working closely with our project partners Celtic Sea Power, Wales & West Utilities and ORE Captapult. The MH:HK project aims to deliver the world first commercial-scale production of hydrogen offhsore, using a combination of floating wind technology, desalininisation and electrolysis.
Prior to joining the Dolphyn Team David helped build ERM’s in-house hydrogen team, which provides consultancy and project support to Gas Network Operators, Energy Producers, End Users, Regulators, and Governments, in the UK and overseas.
