Colin Pritchard

Colin Pritchard is a chemical engineer by training, with over 30 years-experience in the refining, petrochemical, oil & gas and energy sectors in a variety of roles covering technical, operational, environmental and commercial responsibilities.

Colin was Energy Business Manager at Grangemouth for 10 years, leading commercial aspects of energy and utilities delivery, including responsibility for CO2 emissions trading and plans to reduce these emissions. This led to his involvement in creation of the Net Zero Roadmap for INEOS at Grangemouth during 2021, and subsequently his appointment as Sustainability Director at the beginning of 2022, to oversee delivery of the roadmap.

Colin is also a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Energy Policy at the University of Strathclyde, where he contributes his experience from the Energy Intensive Industries sector to support the valuable research of the Centre.
